ABOUT ME (should you be wondering)

I'm an author and illustrator based in Australia but living in fairyland.

My head is a mess of stories, pictures and the occasional cake recipe.

I love to draw, doodle, dream, design, imagine, write, dance, sing (badly), scribble, splatter & cook.

Although I am not young, I am very much a child. (Or immature, depending on how you look at it.)

I am always creating and am keen as moutard to work on projects with schools, festivals, authors, teachers, illustrators, collaborators, publishers and other species.

I am regularly booked for speaking engagements in schools, libraries and at festivals and am passionate about literacy and the arts.

My first picture book, Was Not Me, is about a very good boy who is always taking the blame for his very naughty invisible twin brother. Published by HarperCollins in July 2016, and has been shortlisted for Speech Pathology Australia's Book of the Year. My next picture book, Nomax, about a dog who goes at life with his ears pinned back, was published June 2017 and was a CBCA Notable Book for 2017. I illustrated a further picture book Dear Santa, published by Scholastic in 2018, and another by Hachette due for release in July 2019. My adult fiction short story Doomed was published in the University of the Sunshine Coast anthology Unravel in 2018 and I illustrated Issue 259 of WQ Magazine for Writers Queensland in 2017-2018.

My awards include BAD and AGDA awards for both my graphic design work and illustrations.
